rebranding tradition

Rothenbuhler – originally named Middlefield Cheese – prides itself on a long history of making and selling the best cheese. The Rothenbuhler family came to us looking to refresh their branding and set them apart from a nearby co-op who also used the name Middlefield Cheese.


The challenge was finding a branding that celebrated their Swiss heritage and differentiated them from competitors. Through branding exercises and research, we landed on the name Rothenbuhler Cheesemakers and the tagline “Only the Best. All the Time.”


We created a new look, name, tagline, packaging and an e-commerce site to help them continue to tell their story to new audiences.
